My bike will not go quietly into the night

My bike is determined it will not be forgotten. Ever since I decided to get a new bike, it has hurt me several times. Once, it ran me into a bush, and just now the chain slipped and I flew into the handlebars. It's not been anything particularly permanent, but still, it's the nature of the thing. When I first got down to College Station, my bike was a bit skittish, and threw me off several times before it calmed down. Then the handlebar bent. Now I've had this bike since it was almost taller than me, but it's just too much work to try to completely rebuild it. My brakes then went out, and my bike lock is almost completely useless (it corrodes really easily, apparently). I've not had back brakes for years, and with the front brakes gone, the pedals breaking, the handlebar bent, and my kickstand broken, it's time for something new.

Sorry for my rant, I just needed to get that out of my system. If you can understand any of that, you're doing better than me. Suffice it to say I'm replacing my bike and it's not happy about it.

Thanks for favouriting my tarot cards, and for your suggestion about Kira. In the context that I'm doing the tarot, I think he's probably less well fitted to the concept of 'death' than he is to the concept of 'justice', because while he uses death as a *tool*, his *motive* is his own twisted version of justice. I'm trying to go for the deeper layers of things and there are some very specific points I want to make about the concept of death in general, so in this context I doubt I'll use Kira for Death. But thanks for the suggestion anyway!

Fair enough, just thought I'd suggest it. I love your Tarot cards, for the most part, and can't wait to see the rest of them.

There is punishment, and there is justice. Punishment is meant to teach. Justice is meant to balance. Punishment inflicts pain to prevent further misdeeds, while justice extracts an eye for an eye.

The movie is one thing.
The people supporting the racism is another.
